A HOME?

proximity to their work location. As you can see from the map, buying
a home in Maryland makes a lot of sense if you work in Maryland. Most

Virginia is a dynamic employment center. But, Maryland offers many housing
opportunities with a reasonable commute. And, don't forget - - Metro train
goes to the Pentagon.
Q & A ABOUT BUYING A HOME IN MARYLAND AND VIRGINIA
We are first home buyers, can you
help us?
Absolutely. We have experienced agents who will
help you understand the home buying process from search to settlement.
Our BUYERS AGENTS are skilled with the loans most recommended for first
time home buyers. We'll help you determine how much home you can qualify
to buy, what funds for down payment you'll need for settlement and what
the money pays for. We'll show you homes in your price range. Since our
BUYERS AGENTS never represent home sellers, will NOT try to sell you a
company listing. Your BUYERS AGENT will always give you 100% loyalty.
We'll also help you to understand the loan process as well as the home
inspection and the settlement procedures.
We have a growing family and need
at least four bedrooms, will we be able to see homes like this?
Absolutely. We sell many homes to families with children,
and pets allowed. Many are first time home buyers in this area with job
transfers. This is the type of home most often needed. Four bedroom homes
start in the 2,000 square feet size and larger. Expect to pay just a bit
more for a four bedroom home than a three bedroom home. Our real estate
search will start with your price range and preferred location in Maryland
or Virginia. You select the features in these homes that appeal to you
and your family needs.
We are looking
for a home with approximately 4,000 to 5,000 square feet or more finished
living space, can you help us?
Indeed. We have agents who specialize in the luxury home market. We are
familiar with the communities offering distinctive new, custom built and
luxury resale homes in the 3,000 to 7,000 square feet size. These homes
will generally have 4 or more large bedrooms, 3 or more full baths including
master bedroom suites with garden baths. Many homes of this size will
have 3 car garages, larger than average lots and many desirable luxury
features such as a gourmet kitchen, first floor library, fireplace(s),
deck. Preferred locations for luxury homes will be Bethesda and Potomac
in Maryland. Fairfax, Ashburn, Leesburg or Purcellville in Loudoun County
are popular locations for luxury homes in Virginia.

What would my payments be for a $425,000 home in Montgomery County?
Your payments, based on today's interest
rates, would be based on a combination
of your down payment, the interest rate on the
type of loan you selected. On average,
the Principal and Interest payments would be, at
6% interest, about $2,420. The total
mortgage payment on a 5% DOWN loan would be
Principal and Interest = $2,420
Taxes and Insurance = 350
Total monthly payment $2,770
The variables would be the interest rate for your
loan, the amount of the down payment
and the taxes and insurance payments. These numbers vary from buyer to buyer.

Town homes make wonderful starter homes.
